food coloring (preferably purple but blue will suffice)
And of course...the magic word, "ZOOKUM" which must be muttered over the potion while waving about one's wand.
Emma has been brewing up her secret potion ever since Christmas morning when she received her wizard robes and cauldron. It's been a very serious and intense business that has taken over my mud room for the past few weeks. And sadly, not 20 minutes after proudly announcing her potion was finally finished, Wizard Emma accidentally spilt the coveted sludge all over the kitchen counter and floors. There were many, many tears shed. But have no fear, a true wizard never gives up. A new batch will begin brewing presently.
