Oh what to do with a very busy girl on a rainy day? Luckily Aunt Jess gave us a recipe to try out. Emma made cookies for her daddy all by herself. Well I had to help a little stirring and digging out eggshells and balling up the cookie dough she flung on the sheet, not to mention handling the oven. Em had a blast. I'll post the recipe, it may not be gourmet but it is very kid friendly! 1 box cake mix, 1/3 cup applesauce (or oil), 1 egg. Mix and bake at 350 for 8-10 min. You may have to add a little bit more applesauce if the batter is dry. After baking comes the best part, frost and enjoy!
