Waterfall Canyon

I Just love Saturdays!! Dave doesn't have class on Saturdays and unless he is scorin some overtime he usually doesn't work.

We decided to take full advantage of our day together. We went for a morning hike up waterfall canyon! It was a perfect time of year to go. We didn't hit any snow but it was still nice and cool. Everything was so green and vibrant.

Emma is our little hiking girl. When my dad returned from Germany about a year ago he nicknamed Em Happy Trails because she just loves hiking and smiles the whole way. Dave carried her most of the way, its a good thing or we never would have reached the top. when Emma hiked by herself she had to touch and kiss every rock, tree, flower, you name it. Its fun seeing the world through her eyes. Everything is so new. Emma did get a pretty good raspberry on her knee. She is so proud of her "owie" and is constantly kissing it and telling us how she fell down.

Howie is a great hiker also. We get so many comments on him. You usually don't see a 4 lb., pure-bred yorkshire terrier out hiking.

The Waterfall was amazing. It is so big you can't fit it in one picture, you can't even begin to capture how grand it is. Em loved it, she blew it hugs and kisses. After awhile though she started yelling at it because it was making her cold.

It was a fun hike.
