And Dave, the sweet boy, even tried to hide the fact that it now takes TWO boxes of candles to spell out my age.You know what else was perfect?
My box of Victoria Secret lotions. Oh, sweet pampering. That's right, Dave braved that store with the monkeys in tow (with Ali in her very loud squeaky shoes) and let them sniff out and choose all of the lotions and potions they knew I would love. I should note, while there Emma found many "Gooorgeous dresses" just her size. Tee Hee. Maybe it's time for a modesty talk, eh? ;)
Most perfect of all though was the birthday song my girls sang to me. Emma never, ever sings the same birthday song twice. Each birthday song is individually made up to let the birthday person know how much she loves them and what she sees that is special about them. The song she made up for me was beautiful. Especially with Ali singing "Haaaapppyyy Burfffbay" as backup.
I'm a lucky girl.

Pampered with yummy lotions, personal serenades, and the most delicious fruit cake ever! You are one lucky girl! :) Happy Birthday!
(I'd be frightened to see what my kids think of the 'pretty dresses' at VS.... there are just so many to choose from. haha)
Oh, so sweet!! The cake is beautiful, and looks delicious. Happy Birthday (late)!
awww...how totally sweet!
what thoughtful kiddos...and a brave husband. Pretty sure mine wouldn't even look at VS, let alone go in there...kiddos or not. :)
Happy birthday!
Glad it was good inspite of being sick. You do have an awesome husband and fantastic little girls!
Lol, modesty talk. :-)
That's great. They probably are her size!
Great cake. This baby has been a fruit craver too. Fine by me!
