Do you remember this post? Well, there have been a few more developments in the case. Emma came home from school in a huff the other day and said, "Mom! I don't want to marry Sam anymore because he called me poo-poo and he made fun of other kids and said, 'ha-ha' to them!"
I applauded her decision.
However, then she informed me she had set her sights upon Paxton because, "he sits at the yellow table with me, has real sparkly apples and gets to go to the dinosaur park tomorrow."
Yeah, Paxton didn't last long. Yesterday she came home from school to report that Sam had apologized and that she liked him again. And Paxton? Well,he's fun...but he's not Sam. Emma even went as far as going over to our neighbors house to ask them if she could pick some of their flowers for her "boyfriend" for "grad-gee-ation".
Excuse me? Boyfriend? She's 4! Is it normal to be this boy-crazy this early on? Sheesh. My neighbor thought the whole ordeal was hilarious and gladly let her pick as many lilacs as she wanted.
Luckily, Ali still has eyes for only one man...her daddy. We were driving past the temple the other day on our way to my doctors apt. when Ali got SUPER excited, pointed right at the temple and said, "Daddy marry ME there!"
It was so cute I didn't even have the heart to tell her Daddy was already taken.

Well, good luck 10 years from now with Em, I think it will only get crazier :)
