Tulip Time

Cousins are important. Did you know that? Kati (Dave's sister) knows the truth behind those words and organized a cousin's play date at the tulip festival yesterday. Between Jess (Dave's other sister), Kati and I we have seven kids under the age of four, so needless to say, at any given time at least one child was crying. Haha, j/k, they all did great until about the last 15 minutes when tired tantrums began to fly (mainly my two little angels ;)). Seriously though, it was a GREAT afternoon.

There was some flower admiring

Some hill rolling

Some playing

And lots and lots of exploring

My favorite part of the whole afternoon had to have been when we were all heading into the bear cave. It was dark and you could hear some low growling. Emma and Josh were on the stairs slowly making their way down, they were both very hesitant to enter. Anyway, Kati had gone around the other way and was inside already and let out a huge "ROOOAARR". That did it! Emma and Josh turned around and ran as fast as their little legs could carry them. It was so freakin' funny. Ahhhh good times.

Well, thanks girls, for such a fun-filled afternoon!
