B-B-BOWLING!

Dave has been working a lot lately. A lot. Getting overtime at BOTH of his jobs in one week, a lot. The girls and I have been missing him. I won't bore you with the details but it's been hard. Saturday, Dave had an unprecedented, 12 glorious hours off! It was a treat, I tell ya. We had a family fun day planned but the rain changed our plans. We ended up going...BOWLING!!!

Emma has been begging to go for quite awhile now. She LOVED it!

Ali, wasn't quite sure how the game worked. She kept trying to kick the heavy ball towards the pins. With Dave's help, she figured it out though ;)

What the picture doesn't show is Ali yelling, "GO-GO-GO" at the slow moving ball ;) It was quite hilarious. Speaking of Ali, the little nut was having so much fun she forgot to tell us she had to go potty. We looked over to find her standing in a puddle. Don't ya worry, we threw a jacket on the mess and and no one ever knew. Life is always exciting with that one.

Notice the ball? Coolio huh?! After bowling we went to a local ice-cream shop and had some frozen custard. Can I just say cherry-chocolate chip...YUM!

Joy in the simple things...I'm all about that.
